Health & Safety

The safety, security and wellbeing of both our people and our customers is the number one priority for Flowline.

We are totally committed to maintaining the highest possible standards of health and safety and strive hard to ensure that our staff receive the latest training, advice and support from head office.

We approach every project with the same rigorous standards of discipline and control, with strict procedural guidelines front of mind at all times. We recognise that good health and safety performance is critical to the overall success of our company and that our reputation as a good employer is paramount.

‘From new recruits to our senior management team, health and safety is embedded within the culture of Flowline’.

This ethos runs through the core of our organisation, ensuring that our ultimate goal of achieving zero accidents on site is maintained at all times. Everyone working for Flowline understands that safety really does underpin our success.

‘Nothing that we do is more important than the health and safety of our people and our customers’. Barry Robins, Managing Director, Flowline.

Safety is top of the agenda at our senior management meetings and following completion of every individual contract. The production of our Safety Action Plan (SAP) stems from reviewing our performance against key measurable safety criteria, and the need to maintain the highest standards at all times.

We are proud to have been one of the first drainage contractors to achieve the International Quality Standard originally known as BS 5750, (now ISO 9001), and have since achieved OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety accreditation as well.
